January 2016

Happy New Year!  In January we are celebrating the Art of Writing, perfect for the wintry season where we can warm ourselves by the fire with a good book and a glass of wine. While some wineries are closed for the months of January, most will stay open. From blog-writing workshops, Plein Air Writing events, Poetry readings and book signings, this month, the Wine Trail is getting creative as we celebrate the art of writing in the Brandywine Valley.

As we enter this new year to embrace whatever the future brings, we remember fondly and honor two wonderful members of the Wine Trail that passed away in 2015, Alice Weygandt of Stargazers Winery, and Karen Kalb Anderson of Borderland Vineyard.
